No. It may appear that way because we have American flags, photos, and other symbols on our site, and of course our company is owned and operated by Veterans, but trust us when we say, we are happy to be civilians!
The majority of our work is conducted abroad, and we especially like working in The Bahamas and Caribbean (obviously), but we will go just about anywhere the work takes us. Our careers in the military gave us the desire and curiosity to visit and explore other countries. Most of the time while working overseas on military deployments we had little, or no time to take in and enjoy the local surroundings. By doing similar work in the civilian world, we can see and explore some of the things we always wanted to.
You sure can. All we ask is that you let us know via email so we can thank you.
Good question, we get it often. "Favor Bold" is derived from a quote that some attribute to Alexander The Great (356-323 B.C.)- "Fortune Favors the Bold", or in Latin, "Audentes Fortuna Iuvat”. While it cannot positively be proven that Alexander made the quote, there is no historical doubt that Virgil (70-19 B.C.) did. Many different meanings can be pulled out of the translation, but for us it simply means that if we want to succeed, we need to do what it takes, regardless of the risk or consequences. In essence, it translates to a creed we live by -"convince the mind and the body will follow, and no matter what, never give up". The aeromarine portion identifies our ability to work with aviation and marine assets.
